Whilst it is near impossible to achieve complete zero carbon footprint, our brands strive toward using more environmentally friendly and sustainable raw materials, packaging, operations, and practices where possible; by working with, and sourcing products from manufactures that strive toward Eco-friendly and ethical practices to achieving better environmental cohesion and sustainability; and by continually reviewing, managing, controlling and improving its environmental performance.

Our brands source from suppliers that are proven to follow the highest standards of both sustainable and ethical manufacture.
We appreciate our customers are looking for environmentally mindful products, and we are pleased to offer an array of choice in the products they choose to purchase in our store.
The bulk of our products are organic or made from recycled materials and carry responsible manufacturing accreditation.
Our brands Different Animal, Different Evolution and Revolution Sports Fashion Wear, offer planet friendly ranges. - They source from suppliers operating a carbon-negative status through the purchase of carbon credits.
DTG (Direct to garment) printing by its very nature is Eco-friendly, as we only produce products that customers have ordered, rather than holding mass-produced stock; some of which invariably goes unsold and waste.
Our supplier’s DTG process uses water-based Neo Pigment inks, which are non-hazardous and non-toxic. The inks are 100% non-hazardous water-based; 100% toxin-free; and contain no animal by-products; - safe for infants and babies. As a water-free printing system, it is the most Eco-friendly printing solution on the market.
Our supplies are ISO 9001 Quality Management certified, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management certified by BSI under certificate numbers FS 548982 and EMS 548983, respectively.
As an environmental focused business, we feel that it is important to constantly strive to improve; and to that purpose, we source from suppliers committed to measuring everything that they do. This practice extends to every area of our business from design to production; supply, and shipping; as it all impacts on the environment, product, and service that you the customer receives.
In our commitment to customer satisfaction, our brands continually strive towards and reviews quality objectives to continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management procedures; in supplying products in a manner with the ultimate aim of supplying zero defects and minimal carbon footprint.
Different Inq is particularly aware of its responsibilities towards the environment; and understand that we have a responsibility to keep this impact to a minimum. Our Environmental Management System requires that we aim to:
- Operate in ways that contribute to lowering energy and fuel usage, reducing carbon emissions, and reducing and recycling waste throughout the entire supply chain.
- Analyse our activities to ensure any risk of pollution, contamination, waste, or other environmental impacts are controlled, and if possible, eliminated.
- Ensure as a minimum, compliance with all applicable legal requirements, as well as meeting or exceeding other requirements appropriate to our business’s activities.
- Recognise our customers and affiliates environmental interests, and work to ensure that their interests are taken into consideration.
- Consider our suppliers’ environmental policies and credentials as part of the process for evaluation and selection to trading with them.
- Monitor internally and externally the environmental impact of the business’s operations.
- Strive for continual environmental improvement through the setting and reviewing of objectives and goals.
Carbon offsetting & Solar production
It is a simple fact that no business, supply, or manufacturing process are executed without environmental issues; whether it be power consumption, water usage, transportation etc.
Because of this, in addition to making continuous sustainability improvements, we are pleased in assurance and support, that our suppliers offset their carbon emissions each year by the planting of trees; and using the most technologically advanced methods some of which are powered by the solar panels which atop their factory's roof.
When we ship items to you, we use the most Eco-friendly option available. This will depend on the size of the shipment, but in most cases, packages will be in recycled/recyclable boxes or 100% compostable bags.
